How can I check the status of my order?
As soon as your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number.
To check the status of your order, simply visit our Track Your Order page (linked at the bottom of every page) and enter either your tracking number or your order number along with your email address.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We completely understand—sometimes we change our minds too! We’ll do our best to modify an existing order if you contact our Customer Care team here.
However, whether we can modify or cancel your order depends on its processing status in our warehouse. If your order has already been synchronized, we’re unable to make any changes or cancellations. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
I only received part of my order — how come?
To guarantee the best possible quality across our product range, we sometimes work with different manufacturers, depending on the specific craftsmanship required for each item. For this reason, your order may arrive in multiple packages.
What should I do if something is wrong with my order?
A mistake in your order, a damaged item, or anything else that bothers you? We’re sincerely sorry about that. Please contact us here with your order number and a detailed description of the issue, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

How soon will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for your order depends on the shipping option you selected at checkout. Orders are typically delivered within 3 to 9 business days after processing.
Barring exceptional delays caused by the carrier, average delivery times are as follows:
- Standard Shipping: 7–14 business days
- Premium Shipping: 3–5 business days
How much does shipping cost?
If your order reaches or exceeds $120, you’ll receive free Standard Shipping. Otherwise, you can choose from the following delivery options at checkout:
- Standard Shipping (7–14 business days): $5.95
- Premium Shipping (3–5 business days): $19.95
My package was lost, stolen, or damaged — what should I do?
Oh no! If your package was lost, stolen, or damaged, please first file a claim with the shipping carrier. Then contact our Customer Care team here, providing your order number and the claim number. Once we receive that, we’ll work together to find the best resolution.
Please note that Chapter One is not responsible for packages that disappear after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Once your parcel is declared delivered, we are no longer liable, and no refund will be issued in this case (we’re truly sorry about that).
To help avoid confusion, we recommend that customers request a signature upon delivery whenever possible.
Does Chapter One ship internationally?
For now, we only accept orders within the United States. However, thanks to your enthusiasm for our brand and the success of our products, we’re working hard to make them available for delivery in the UK, the EU, and the UAE as soon as possible!
returns and refunds_
How do I place a return?
Chapter One accepts returns on orders placed through our website within 14 days of delivery. To request a return, please fill out the contact form here, including your order number. Our Customer Care team will get back to you as soon as possible with the next steps.
Returned items must be in their original packaging with all labels intact, including the safety label. Items must not have been used, damaged, soiled, or altered in any way. If an item is returned in unsuitable condition, it will be refused.

Can I exchange an item after receipt?
If one or more items in your order don’t suit you and you’d like to make an exchange, you must first return them by following the return process described above. Once we’ve received your return and confirmed that it meets our return conditions, we’ll issue a voucher for the value of the returned products. You can then place a new order for the desired item, subject to availability.
Please note that the original shipping costs will be deducted from the voucher, and you’ll need to pay shipping costs again for the new item.
Are shipping costs refundable?
Shipping costs cover the expenses incurred for handling and delivering your package. For this reason, they are non-refundable.
I’m expecting a refund. How long will it take?
Please allow 6–12 business days for us to receive your return. Once received, it may take up to 10 business days for us to process it. After your items have been inspected and approved, we’ll issue your refund to the original form of payment and notify you by email.
After the refund is issued, please allow up to 2 additional business days for the funds to appear in your account. Refunds can only be credited to your original method of payment.

How do I know if an item is being restocked?
Our collections are released in drops, and only a small selection of items belong to our permanent collection. To know if a specific item is likely to be restocked, please check its product page.
What happens if the product I want is not available?
If an item is sold out, you can sign up to be notified when it’s back in stock. Please note that if the product is not part of our permanent collection, it will only become available again if an order is returned.
How can I find out about future restocks and new launches?
We recommend keeping an eye on our social channels @chapter_one and subscribing to our newsletter so you don’t miss any updates on upcoming restocks and launches.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal (when applicable).
If you’d like us to consider another payment method, please contact us here—we’re always looking to expand our options. Please note that we do not accept prepaid banking gift cards, international credit cards, checks, or money orders.
Is shopping on chapter-one.us secure?
We understand how important security is to you. All credit card and order data is encrypted and secure. Our platform is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and uses 256-bit SSL certificates to keep order details safe (you’ll notice the cart switches from http to https as confirmation). How do I use my gift card?
How lucky you are! To use your gift card, simply enter the code at checkout to redeem it. Please note that if your order does not reach $120, the gift card cannot be applied to cover shipping costs.
