Return and Refund Policy
RETURNS
We hope you love your Chapter One products! However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. That's why we offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days upon delivery of your item purchased from chapter-one.us to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please fill out the contact form here or email us at hello@chapter-one.us, including your order number. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Please note:
- Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, except in cases where the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, in which case Chapter One will cover the return shipping costs.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if we sent you the wrong item. We will arrange for a return or exchange at our expense.
In such cases, if a return is necessary, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label. Once the item is received and the issue is confirmed, you will be fully refunded to your original payment method or sent a replacement product, according to your preference.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please note that all gift cards and select merchandise purchased from chapter-one.us are final sale.
EXCHANGES
If one or more items in your order do not suit you and you would like to make an exchange, you must first return the items by following the return process described above.
Once we have received your return and confirmed that everything meets our return conditions, we will issue a voucher for the value of the returned products, which you can use to place a new order for the desired item, subject to availability.
Please note that the original shipping costs will be deducted from the voucher, and you will need to pay shipping costs again for the new item.
REFUNDS
Please allow 6–12 business days for us to receive your return. Once received, it may take up to 10 business days for us to process it. After your items have been inspected and approved, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment, minus the original shipping charges, and notify you by email.
After we issue your refund, please allow up to 2 additional business days for the funds to be posted to your account. Please note that refunds can only be credited to the original method of payment.
THIRD-PARTY PURCHASE
If you purchased a product from one of our authorized retail partners, please follow that retailer’s return policy.

Your Rights Under Law: Our return and refund policy does not limit or waive any rights you have under applicable laws. For example, you may have additional remedies if a product is defective or if a purchase is made through certain types of solicitations.
